Ghostwriting & Copywriting
A much better-looking version of this section is coming soon.
COPYWRITING
If you want a sample of my copywriting work, check out the faux website we did for Peace of Ship, the faux tech startup featured in MURDER IN HR. I wrote all of the copy for the website, which features numerous Easter eggs to the show. I also acted as showrunner on the show and directed and produced it, in addition to being part of the development team. For our hard work, we won Best B2B Campaign at the Webby Awards:
GHOSTWRITING
In my time at B2B marketing agency Rep Cap, I was the company’s in-house specialist for high-level ghostwriting. This continued during my time at Caspian Studios, where I wrote for Alation CEO Satyen Sangani on his podcast DATA RADICALS, working with Satyen and his content marketing team to develop the thought leadership that shaped his monologues on the first season of the show.
One of my favorite clients was Ryan Estis, a sales and leadership speaker. Ryan is a dynamic speaker who melds data-driven insights with an emphasis on personal growth. He was at the forefront of emphasizing the importance of wellness in the workplace, and many of the principles I wrote about with Ryan guide how I behave in the workplace today. Here are a few of my favorite blog posts that I worked on with Ryan:
Five Journaling Prompt to Build Emotional Resilience
How to Build Trust with Prospective Clients
Virtual Selling Skills You Need to Grow
I worked with Sift founder Sean Jackson during the company’s early startup phase to help craft Sean’s thought leadership. Often, we pulled from the lessons Sean had learned while serving as a Marine, along with his experiences working at tech companies. These were very fun interviews filled with bold, forward-thinking ideas, and they were always a pleasure to work on:
What We Can Learn From the Military About Building Resilient Teams
Why We All Need More Creative Collisions
Finally, as part of our marketing campaign for MURDER IN HR, I ghostwrote this blog post for Caspian Studios CEO Ian Faison, entitled “An HR Murder Mystery? Inside the making of MURDER IN HR.” MURDER IN HR won the Webby Award for Best B2B Campaign, along with the People’s Voice Award in the same category.
